Journeyman Electrician - Fly in Fly Out

About the role

We are seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join PTW on various construction projects, installing electrical systems on industrial sites with fly‑in‑fly‑out arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Install electrical systems, equipment, and components.
• Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Ensure all work complies with electrical code, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with other trades and contractors on job sites.
• Complete documentation, work orders, and reports as required.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment.
• Other duties as required.

Required profile

• Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate (Red Seal preferred).
• Minimum of 4 years experience in industrial construction electrical work.
• Valid H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), and CSTS 2020 certifications.
• Strong knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and OH&S requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Proficient with hand tools, testing devices, and electrical equipment.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Flexible availability for shift work, overtime, and weekends.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and outdoor conditions.
