IT Support Technician

About the role

Join MNP’s Technology – Support Services team as an IT Support Technician. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping colleagues across Canada use and maintain their technology tools efficiently. The role blends hands‑on technical support with the opportunity to influence IT standards and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily in‑person and remote support for workstations, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Deploy, configure and support key business applications, especially tax and accounting software.
• Manage incidents and service requests through ServiceNow and enrich the knowledge base.
• Deliver individual and group training to increase user autonomy.
• Contribute to the evolution of IT support standards, guidelines, policies and processes.
• Collaborate with a large Technology team while demonstrating autonomy and initiative.
• Travel as required, including same‑day or multi‑day trips, and be available for occasional out‑of‑hours shifts or on‑call rotation.

Required profile

• Technologically savvy with a rapid learning ability for new applications, platforms and systems.
• Experience in IT support or customer service.
• Strong communication skills in both French and English.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and translate needs into concrete solutions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with modern Windows operating systems.
• Experience using ServiceNow for ticket management.
• Knowledge of audiovisual technologies.
• Familiarity with networking concepts.
• Basic coding knowledge.
• Understanding of IT asset management practices.
