IT Project Manager (Digital / AI Specialization)

About the role

Saputo is looking for an IT Project Manager with a Digital / AI specialization to join its IT PMO team in Saint-Laurent. The role leads a wide variety of high-impact IT projects, with a focus on major AI use cases, SaaS implementations, digital platform deployments, process automation and business transformation. It reports to the Director, IT PMO, Projects and Portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the project approach from concept to execution, setting scope, estimates, schedule, costs, assumptions and dependencies
• Provide weekly progress reports to the IT Leadership Team, including risks, issues, decisions and recommendations
• Lead through influence, guide the project team, ensure quality assurance processes are followed and coach other IT resources taking Project Lead roles
• Manage work planning, scope, performance reporting, resources, issues and risks, and obtain deliverable sign-offs
• Manage internal and external relationships, work in a multi-site delivery model and lead third-party vendors and system integrators through selection, contracts and delivery governance
• Contribute to PMO processes, tools and methodology, and support quality gates

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent experience
• Minimum 8 years of IT project delivery experience, including 3-5 years leading full delivery lifecycles and managing a diverse team
• End-to-end project management experience, including budgets over $1M and steering committee leadership
• Experience with packaged software and SaaS implementation; managing multiple system integrators and global deployments are assets
• Experience delivering AI use cases from MVP to full-scale deployment is an asset

Required skills

• Project management certification (PMP, Prince II) or equivalent recognized curriculum
• SCRUM Master certification or hybrid/agile project experience is an asset
• Expert-level MS Office, including MS Project Professional and Excel, and SharePoint
• French/English bilingualism is an asset
