IT Architect – Enterprise Architecture

About the role

Saputo is looking for an experienced IT Architect to lead enterprise‑wide design, development and support of technology solutions. The role bridges IT and global business needs, ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure and aligned with digital transformation goals.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Sr. Manager, Enterprise Architecture in defining vision, principles and standards.
• Maintain multi‑year architecture roadmaps that align with business strategy and IT priorities.
• Partner with business, IT and Cyber Security stakeholders to drive innovation, agility and cost optimisation.
• Govern solution designs for compliance with architecture principles and security requirements.
• Promote modern practices such as cloud‑native, microservices, API‑first and event‑driven architectures.
• Translate complex technical concepts into business‑friendly language for executive audiences.
• Act as a trusted advisor on technology strategy, investment decisions and KPI‑driven architecture effectiveness.

Required profile

• Strategic thinker with a broad understanding of ERP (SAP) and non‑ERP application landscapes.
• Proven ability to collaborate with business and IT stakeholders at all organisational levels.
• Experience applying enterprise‑architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) to large, global organisations.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture that supports analytics, AI and regulatory requirements.
