Inventory Coordinator

About the role

Sandvik Mining is looking for an Inventory Coordinator to manage stock, goods in transit, production inventory and obsolescence reserves across designated stockrooms. The role supports strategic stock planning, drives optimisation initiatives and collaborates with demand planners and other stakeholders to ensure accurate forecasting for mining equipment fleets.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and analyse inventory parameters for standard assortments, including consignment stock levels.
• Oversee strategic stock, goods in transit and production inventory within assigned stockrooms.
• Coordinate improvement activities with relevant stakeholders and drive stock optimisation projects such as returns processes.
• Support regional and global initiatives, providing inventory count assistance to meet internal controls.
• Assist demand planners with fleet forecasting, data analysis and inventory planning.
• Analyse new equipment arrivals and plan targeted inventory for local stockrooms or hubs.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Project Management, Logistics or a related field.
• Experience in inventory management, preferably within heavy‑duty equipment or mining environments.
• Strong analytical abilities and collaborative mindset.
