Part Time Merchandiser (Grocery/Warehouse)

About the role

Join a leading Canadian merchandising company as a Part‑Time Merchandiser supporting a major manufacturer’s Direct Store Delivery program in big‑box retail stores. You will work on‑site after deliveries, keeping shelves organized, stocked, and visually appealing to drive sales.

Key responsibilities

• Stock and replenish products following DSD deliveries
• Rotate product to ensure freshness and quality
• Build and maintain displays and promotional signage
• Monitor inventory levels and process damaged, expired, or unsaleable items
• Use smartphone apps to collect data, take photos, and complete reports
• Ensure products are neatly arranged and ready for customers
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times
• Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing steel‑toed shoes

Required profile

• Prior experience in retail, grocery, warehouse, or merchandising environments
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding setting (lift, bend, stand for long periods)
• Confident communication with store staff, management, and other vendors
• Independent work style with effective daily priority management
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable, insured vehicle
• Physically able to lift and move product loads
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Comfortable using modern technology and smartphone applications
