Internal Controls Auditor – Financial Reporting

About the role

Join WSP as an Internal Controls Auditor focused on Financial Reporting. You will help safeguard the integrity of financial data across a global organization, working with diverse teams to strengthen internal control frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform internal controls testing under NI 52-109 across global regions, consolidating results for Audit Committee reporting.
• Document and align internal controls for newly acquired businesses, supporting management certification processes.
• Advise on and follow‑up remediation plans for control deficiencies to improve governance and compliance.
• Analyze testing results, deficiency trends, and remediation status for senior management and the Audit Committee.
• Collaborate with finance and cross‑functional teams worldwide to support testing, documentation, and remediation activities.
• Contribute to the continuous evolution of internal controls processes in a dynamic, growing organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or accounting information systems; CPA designation or in progress.
• 3–5 years of experience in external or internal audit, preferably in a publicly traded company or public accounting firm.
• Experience with NI 52-109 and/or SOX 404 internal control testing and a solid grasp of control frameworks.
• Strong English communication skills with working‑level French proficiency.
• Analytical, results‑oriented mindset with excellent problem‑solving, organization, and time‑management abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative, deadline‑driven environment.
• Willingness to travel internationally and work across time zones.
