Internal Auditor

About the role

The Internal Audit team is looking for a proactive Internal Auditor to plan and execute audits across multiple business units. You will provide assurance on operational controls and support compliance with Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR).

Key responsibilities

• Maintain regular communication with senior auditors and the audit manager, reporting audit status and meeting project deadlines.
• Prepare clear, organized working papers in line with the SNCL internal audit methodology and accepted auditing standards.
• Execute financial, operational, and compliance audits, applying risk‑based approaches and adjusting procedures as needed.
• Conduct data‑analytics procedures where required to enhance audit effectiveness.
• Perform ICFR testing, including interim and year‑end assessments, walkthroughs, and evidence review.
• Identify and document control deficiencies, coordinate with external auditors, and provide recommendations.
• Participate in special projects, ad‑hoc audits, and advisory assignments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related field.
• Professional certification such as CA, CPA, CIA, CISA, or CFE is an asset.
• 1‑4 years of relevant experience in internal audit or related areas.
