Internal Auditor – Financial Services

About the role

Join National Bank’s Internal Audit team and work at the heart of the bank’s operations. You will contribute to strategic audit engagements across Capital Markets, Wealth Management, Personal and Commercial Banking, and more, while developing a deep understanding of the institution’s activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in audit planning, identifying risks and defining audit objectives.
• Perform audit work as part of a team of experienced auditors.
• Leverage data analytics and artificial intelligence tools (e.g., Co‑pilot, ChatGPT) to achieve audit objectives.
• Communicate audit results clearly and contribute to recommendations for stakeholders.
• Follow up on action plans arising from internal audit engagements and regulatory recommendations.
• Support external auditors with financial and non‑financial audit work for the bank and its subsidiaries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Three to four years of relevant audit experience.
• CPA designation or candidate for the profession.
• Knowledge of data visualization and analysis tools such as Excel and Power BI, as well as AI technologies.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and innovative mindset.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information.
• Team‑oriented attitude.
