Intermediate Software Developer

About the role

We are seeking an Intermediate Software Developer to join the digital transformation team at Thomas Cavanagh Construction in Kanata. The role focuses on building full‑stack applications and data‑driven solutions on the Palantir Foundry platform, supporting the company’s goal to run all business operations through a single integrated system.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop full‑stack web applications and data workflows within Palantir Foundry.
• Build scalable backend services and integrations using TypeScript or Python.
• Create, maintain, and optimise SQL‑based data pipelines.
• Act as a technical partner to clients, gathering requirements, demonstrating solutions, and ensuring successful adoption.
• Travel to client sites regularly to conduct on‑site discovery and deploy solutions.
• Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders on architecture, code reviews, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Comfortable working in a client‑facing environment with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
