Intermediate Civil Engineer – Municipal Infrastructure

About the role

CBCL is looking for an Intermediate Civil Engineer with municipal infrastructure experience to join its Fredericton team. You will work alongside design and construction professionals, shaping workplace culture while delivering high‑quality results for clients throughout the design process.

Key responsibilities

• Develop conceptual, preliminary and detailed designs for civil/municipal infrastructure such as water distribution, wastewater collection, stormwater management and site grading.
• Prepare tender packages, including drawings and contract specifications, and provide input for construction cost estimates.
• Perform contract administration duties and manage projects to meet budget, schedule and client deliverables.
• Meet and liaise with clients, prepare technical reports and proposals, and support business development activities.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Registered, or eligible to register, with APEGNB.
• 4+ years of relevant municipal or heavy civil construction experience.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel occasionally.
