Inside Sales Representative

About the role

The Inside Sales Representative receives requests for quotations, orders and lead times from customers via telephone, fax or email. They prepare quotations for standard items, enter orders, coordinate with internal departments, and manage both incoming and outgoing shipments.

Key responsibilities

• Answer customer calls, assess needs and promote automation solutions.
• Support Outside Sales staff and manage customer accounts.
• Prepare promotions, quotations and follow‑up on quotes.
• Handle inventory, shipping and receiving, including receiving, unpacking and inspecting shipments.
• Enter job and price contracts into the operating system and expedite orders.
• Liaise with the credit department on credit status for rush orders.
• Maintain communication between customers, sales reps, technicians and manufacturers.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of inside sales experience with a demonstrated ability to deal with customers.
• Technology Diploma.
