Inside Business Development Manager – Advisor (Canada)

About the role

This position supports financial advisors by delivering tailored banking and lending solutions. Based in Canada, the Inside Business Development Manager – Advisor will act as a growth partner, building long‑term relationships within an assigned territory and helping advisors maximize value for their clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct high‑volume outbound outreach (≈40 calls/day) to promote banking and lending solutions and schedule strategic meetings.
• Present product value in advisor meetings, strengthen relationships, and drive sales growth across the territory.
• Develop and execute structured business plans, track performance, and manage pipelines using CRM tools such as Salesforce.
• Support advisors through applications, service escalations, and product‑related inquiries to ensure a seamless client experience.
• Collaborate with internal BDMs and cross‑functional teams on sales strategy, campaign execution, and growth initiatives.
• Participate in mentoring, knowledge sharing, and sales enablement activities.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies, training requirements, and responsible sales practices.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or client relationship roles, preferably in banking, insurance, or financial services.
• Proven ability to build and grow advisor or client relationships in a performance‑driven environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Highly organized, commercially driven, and comfortable using data to guide decisions.
