Industrial Electrician – Rotating Shift

About the role

Join Labatt’s brewing team as an Industrial Electrician in Creston, BC. You will work rotating shifts to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in a large manufacturing environment. The position is unionized with progressive yearly wage increases.

Key responsibilities

• Install, alter, repair and maintain various electrical systems and related equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical code specifications.
• Plan layout and illustration of wiring, equipment and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
• Work as part of a team to troubleshoot and repair equipment, including disassembling and re‑assembling electrical machinery.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards and ensure code compliance.
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program for plant equipment.

Required profile

• Provincially Qualified Electrician ticket.
• At least 1 year of experience as an industrial electrician (3 years preferred).
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Good understanding of PLC troubleshooting and programming.
• Excellent problem‑solving mindset and continuous‑learning attitude.
• Experience with SAP and other CMMS systems is an asset.
