Implementation Support and International Development Internship

About the role

The Implementation Support Planning and Coordination Section (ISPC) of ICAO's Air Navigation Bureau is looking for an intern to assist with the development and coordination of implementation support activities. Based in Montreal, the intern will work closely with the Chief of ISPC and contribute to projects that enhance capacity building and stakeholder engagement across the aviation sector.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and launching a dedicated implementation support platform using MS SharePoint.
• Support the preparation, review, and completion of project documents, peer‑review reports, and project plans.
• Help identify and monitor key performance indicators for implementation support activities.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and briefings for internal and external audiences.
• Contribute to internal promotion activities and the creation of outreach materials.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Chief of ISPC.

Required profile

• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to listen, interpret messages accurately, and ask clarifying questions.
• Interest in international aviation development and capacity‑building initiatives.
• Willingness to work under supervision and collaborate with diverse teams.

Required skills

• Experience with MS SharePoint.
