HSE Manager

About the role

The HSE Manager provides technical support to senior management on safety‑related matters, ensuring compliance with client, provincial, federal and industry standards. The role leads the HSE team, develops policies, and acts as the primary point of contact for all HSE inquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop the HSE department staff to achieve performance goals.
• Implement, oversee and adapt HSE policies and programs to improve company safety performance.
• Direct the HSE team, interpret compliance requirements and ensure all operations meet federal, provincial and client regulations.
• Build strong relationships with client HSE departments and act as liaison with regulators and government agencies.
• Conduct field visits, deliver HSE presentations and manage incident reporting, environmental protection and emergency plans.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience with demonstrated leadership or management responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification in Health, Safety or Environmental fields.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using SharePoint for document management.
• Effective email management and communication tools.
