HR Representative – Occupational Health & Safety Team

About the role

The People & Equity Division is seeking four HR Representatives to support the Occupational Health, Safety and Wellness team. In this administrative position you will provide essential backing to HR professionals delivering health, safety, disability management and learning services across the City.

Key responsibilities

• Compile, summarize and analyse data related to occupational health, safety and disability management programs.
• Liaise with corporate pension, payroll, employee benefits, union representatives and external stakeholders on People & Equity matters.
• Administer the Toronto Public Service training calendar, coordinating sessions and handling registrations, withdrawals and cancellations.
• Provide high‑level customer service to internal clients, responding to inquiries about training and program matters.
• Conduct research and produce reports on learning systems, tools, procedures and policies.
• Organise and input yearly courses into the learning management system.
• Participate in team projects aimed at improving operational processes, system testing and reporting.
• Perform administrative and clerical functions for Employee Health & Wellness, including account reconciliation and records management.

Required profile

• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse internal and external partners.
• Experience in HR administrative support, preferably within occupational health, safety or learning environments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced setting.
• Proficiency in using specialised HR and training software.
