HR Generalist (12‑month contract) – Hybrid – Toronto

About the role

We are seeking an HR Generalist on a 12‑month contract to support both POINT Canada employees and Lilly Canada HR operations. The role blends employee‑facing HR support with benefits coordination, delivering a consistent and high‑quality employee experience in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary HR contact for POINT Canada staff and frontline managers.
• Handle day‑to‑day HR inquiries, including policies, onboarding, Workday navigation, leaves, and general HR processes.
• Support and improve key employee lifecycle moments such as onboarding, transitions, and off‑boarding.
• Escalate complex issues to HR Business Partners or subject‑matter experts.
• Assist the Benefits team with employee inquiries, retirements, and transitions.
• Coordinate general HR administration to ensure smooth execution of HR and benefits processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in HR operations, general HR activities, or employee support.
• Strong communication skills in English; French is an asset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.
• Customer‑focused mindset with solid problem‑solving abilities.
