HR Business Partner (Hybrid – Burnaby)

About the role

Specsavers is seeking an HR Business Partner to support its Support Office in Burnaby. This hybrid position (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) is an 18‑month contract focused on delivering people strategies, advising managers and employees, and driving organizational effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Provide coaching and guidance on performance management, talent management, compensation and change initiatives.
• Partner with the Head of HR & Talent on strategic talent planning, organizational design, people reviews and succession planning.
• Support learning and development by collaborating with internal and external facilitators to deliver training.
• Work with the Global DEI team to implement inclusion initiatives across the region.
• Act as a trusted advisor throughout the employee lifecycle for managers and individual contributors.
• Collaborate with the Global Rewards team to execute and communicate total rewards strategies.
• Design and implement people‑focused projects and workforce priorities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR advisor or business partner, preferably in a hybrid work environment.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, talent management, performance and compensation processes.
• Ability to build credible relationships and influence senior leaders with pragmatic solutions.
• Experience partnering on DEI initiatives and total rewards implementation.
• Demonstrated project management skills and ability to drive change.
