Home‑Care Worker – Elderly Support

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate home‑care worker to provide personal care and support to elderly clients in their homes in Edmonton. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment, and promoting the well‑being of each client.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, personal hygiene and water activities such as pool use.
• Help clients with regular exercise, including walks.
• Feed or assist with feeding and prepare nutritious meals, including cooking and menu planning.
• Perform light housekeeping, cleaning duties and shop for food and household supplies.
• Provide companionship, personal care and support daily living tasks.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years experience in home‑care or a related field.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to pass a criminal record check.
• Physical ability to bend, crouch, kneel, sit, stand and walk for extended periods.
