About the role
We are looking for a dedicated full-time nanny to provide safe, nurturing care for our children in our Ottawa home. The role includes overseeing daily routines, supporting personal development, and managing household tasks in the parents’ absence.
Key responsibilities
- Change diapers and assist with toilet training as directed by parents.
- Supervise children, transport them to school, appointments, and extracurricular activities.
- Plan and lead games, outings, and educational activities.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and handle all kitchen duties.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, ironing, and maintain a clean environment.
- Shop for food and household supplies.
- Discipline children according to parents’ methods and support their emotional well‑being.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years experience in childcare or nanny roles.
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
