Home Visitor – HIPPY Early Childhood Program

About the role

The HIPPY program is an evidence‑based home visitation service that supports parents and guardians of children up to five years old, especially those facing social or economic barriers. As a Home Visitor you will deliver the curriculum, conduct weekly home visits, role‑play activity packets, and help families prepare their children for school while building community connections.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the HIPPY program by making weekly home visits, role‑playing activity packets and facilitating group meetings.
• Maintain accurate records in the ETO system, enter data, and submit required reports and documentation.
• Participate in training, field trips, graduations, award ceremonies and other HIPPY‑sponsored events.
• Assist the steering committee with program recommendations, sustainable funding initiatives and data analysis.
• Ensure compliance with KCHC policies, privacy legislation and trauma‑responsive practices.
• Attend local, regional and national HIPPY conferences and in‑service training.

Required profile

• College diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in early childhood education, preferably with home‑visiting.
