About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Home Support Worker to provide personal care and household assistance to clients in their homes in Montréal. The role involves supporting daily living activities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment, and fostering companionship.
Key responsibilities
- Administer medications and monitor health needs.
- Assist clients with bathing, personal hygiene, dressing, and toileting.
- Support regular exercise such as walking.
- Prepare, serve, and assist with nutritious meals, including planning therapeutic diets.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and clothing repairs.
- Shop for food and household supplies.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
Required profile
- Reliability, punctuality, and strong dependability.
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility, initiative, and good judgement.
