About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Home Support Worker to provide personal care and household assistance to elderly clients in Whitby. The role involves supporting daily living activities in the client’s home, ensuring comfort and safety.
Key responsibilities
- Launder clothing and household linens and mend them as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Provide companionship and personal care to clients.
- Shop for food and household supplies.
- Prepare, serve nutritious meals and cook.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year experience in home support or similar role.
- Criminal record check clearance.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk and lift up to 45 kg.
- Flexibility, good judgement, organization, reliability, teamwork and honesty.
