About the role
The Home Support Worker provides essential personal care and household assistance to clients in their homes. This full‑time, permanent position involves a blend of bedside care, housekeeping, and companionship to promote client well‑being and independence.
Key responsibilities
- Administer bedside and personal care, including assistance with bathing and hygiene.
- Launder clothing and household linens, and mend items as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Shop for food and household supplies.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
Required profile
- Client‑focused with a caring attitude.
- Dependable and flexible with work schedules.
- Patience and ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as bending, crouching, and lifting up to 23 kg.
