About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Home Support Worker to provide personal care, household assistance, and companionship to clients in their own homes. The role involves supporting individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting wellbeing in a non‑smoking environment.
Key responsibilities
- Administer bedside and personal care, including medication assistance.
- Assist with regular exercise such as walking.
- Launder clothing and household linens, and mend items as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Plan therapeutic diets, prepare and serve nutritious meals, and cook.
- Shop for food and household supplies.
- Provide companionship and personal care.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience.
- Strong punctuality, dependability, and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility, initiative, good judgement, and ability to work as a team player.
- Patience, honesty, reliability, and organized approach.
