About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Home Support Worker to provide personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities for elderly and disabled clients in their homes in Etobicoke. The role involves delivering high‑quality, respectful support while ensuring safety and well‑being.
Key responsibilities
- Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing, hygiene, and dressing.
- Provide medication administration and monitor health status.
- Assist clients with feeding, meal preparation, and nutritious meals.
- Support regular exercise and mobility, such as walking.
- Offer companionship and emotional support throughout the day.
Required profile
- Criminal record check and references required.
- Ability to lift and handle loads up to 23 kg (50 lb).
- Reliability, punctuality, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work morning, day, evening or flexible hours.
Required skills
- CPR certification.
- First Aid certification.
- Medication administration competency.
