About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Home Support Worker to provide personalized care to clients in their own homes. The role involves assisting individuals with disabilities in daily activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well‑being.
Key responsibilities
- Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing, hygiene assistance, and toileting.
- Administer prescribed medications safely and on schedule.
- Assist clients with water activities such as pool use.
- Support regular exercise, including walking and mobility exercises.
- Plan therapeutic diets, prepare and serve nutritious meals.
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and social interaction.
- Monitor vital signs and document care activities.
- Perform repetitive tasks and maintain a clean, safe environment.
Required profile
- Experience in home support or personal care is an asset.
- Willingness to work in the employer’s home setting.
- Ability to serve persons with disabilities.
- Physical capability to perform repetitive tasks and assist with mobility.
