About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Home Support Worker to provide personal care and assistance to clients in their own homes in North York. The role involves supporting daily living activities, ensuring safety, and fostering a comfortable environment.
Key responsibilities
- Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing and hygiene assistance.
- Administer medications as directed.
- Assist clients with water activities such as pool use.
- Support regular exercise, including walking.
- Feed or assist with feeding and prepare nutritious meals.
- Mend clothing and linens.
- Plan therapeutic diets and menus.
- Provide companionship and personal care.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- Reliability, punctuality, and honesty.
- Client‑focused attitude with patience and flexibility.
- Organized and able to work independently.
- Experience is an asset.
