About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Home Support Worker to provide bedside and personal care to clients in Burnaby. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment, and fostering companionship.
Key responsibilities
- Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing, hygiene, and dressing.
- Assist with medication administration as directed.
- Support regular exercise such as walking.
- Feed or assist with feeding and prepare nutritious meals.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and mend clothing or linens.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
- Punctual, dependable, organized, reliable, patient, and honest.
- Ability to work mornings, days, and weekends in a non‑smoking environment.
