Home Support Worker – Personal Care & Assistance

About the role

MGA Care Services is seeking a compassionate Home Support Worker to provide in‑home personal care and assistance to adults and seniors in Winnipeg. You will work directly in clients' residences, helping them maintain independence and a high quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Administer bedside and personal care, including medication assistance.
• Assist clients with bathing, hygiene, and dressing.
• Support regular exercise such as walking.
• Launder clothing and household linens.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals.

Required profile

• Other trades certificate or diploma, Health Aide, or Personal Support Worker Certificate.
• 1–2 years of experience in home support or personal care.
• Fluency in Filipino or Pilipino; ability to communicate in English.
• Clear criminal record and vulnerable sector checks.
• Physical ability to bend, crouch, kneel, lift 61‑80 kg, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Strong punctuality, reliability, and client‑focused attitude.
