Home Support Worker – Personal Care & Assistance

About the role

MGA Care Services is seeking a compassionate Home Support Worker to provide in‑home personal care and companionship to clients in Winnipeg. You will work directly in the client’s residence, helping them maintain independence and a high quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing, hygiene, and dressing.
• Assist with medication administration as directed.
• Support clients in regular exercise such as walking.
• Launder clothing and household linens and perform light housekeeping.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in home support or personal care.
• Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent experience.
• Ability to pass criminal and vulnerable sector checks.
• Physical ability to bend, crouch, kneel, lift 61‑80 kg and perform repetitive tasks.
• Strong punctuality, reliability, and client‑focused attitude.
