About the role
The Zheng Family is seeking a compassionate Home Support Worker to provide in‑home care for elderly clients in Gloucester. You will assist with daily living activities, ensure a safe environment, and promote the well‑being of each client.
Key responsibilities
- Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing and hygiene.
- Administer medications and provide medication reminders.
- Assist clients with regular exercise such as walking.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, including Szechuan and Dim Sum specialties.
- Provide companionship and support social activities.
- Monitor client health status and report any changes.
- Support clients in meal planning and nutrition.
- Ensure safety and security within the home.
