About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Home Support Worker to provide daily assistance to an elderly individual in a private residence in Nepean, Ontario. The role focuses on personal care, light housekeeping, and companionship, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment. The position is full-time, permanent, and offers a supportive environment for newcomers and youth.
Key responsibilities
- Administer bedside and personal care, including hygiene assistance.
- Assist with regular exercise such as walking to promote mobility.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a tidy home.
- Provide companionship and emotional support throughout the day.
Required profile
- Punctual and reliable attendance.
- Dependable with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Initiative to anticipate and address the client’s needs.
