Home Child Care Provider – Full‑time

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable home child care provider to join a family in Edmonton. This full‑time, permanent position involves caring for infants and children in the employer's home, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and organized environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for household duties when parents are absent, including light housekeeping and cleaning.
• Travel with the family, assisting with child supervision and household tasks during trips.
• Provide daily care: bathing, dressing, feeding, and supervising rest periods for infants and children.
• Discipline children according to parents' guidelines and support their emotional well‑being.
• Instruct children in personal hygiene, social development, and healthy habits.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, health information, and meals.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
• Excellent oral communication, patience, honesty, and reliability.
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and judgment skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and flexible hours.
