Heavy Equipment Mechanic

About the role

The company is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to maintain and repair a variety of heavy trucks and attachments. You will work on‑site in Victoriaville, ensuring equipment meets manufacturers' specifications and stays operational for daily use.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
• Diagnose issues using computerized testing equipment and determine required repairs.
• Adjust, repair or replace defective parts and test equipment after service.
• Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning, lubricating and servicing attachments.
• Repair heavy trucks and service working tools.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.

Required profile

• Dependable and reliable with good judgement.
• Team player who is organized and can work independently.
• Physically capable of bending, crouching, kneeling and standing for extended periods.
• Possess a valid driver’s licence and own transportation.
