About the role
Join Anthony's Excavating Central Inc. as a Heavy‑Duty Equipment Mechanic Apprentice. You will work on a variety of farm and construction equipment, gaining hands‑on experience while completing a registered apprenticeship program.
Key responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, inspect and diagnose equipment faults using computerized testing tools.
- Adjust, repair or replace defective parts and perform routine maintenance such as cleaning and lubricating.
- Order parts, maintain inventory and keep detailed maintenance reports.
- Test repaired equipment to ensure performance meets manufacturer specifications.
- Perform repair work on heavy trucks and service attachments and working tools.
Required profile
- Physically demanding work with bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
- Dependable, organized and excellent oral communication.
- Own transportation and steel‑toed safety boots.
Required skills
- WHMIS certification.
- Equipment troubleshooting and diagnostic testing.
- Heavy‑truck repair and maintenance.
