Health and Safety Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Health and Safety Coordinator to join our manufacturing team at Techo‑Bloc. The role offers hands‑on experience on the production floor of our Saint‑Hubert and Chambly sites, supporting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily workplace inspections and support prevention activities on the production floor.
• Assist teams in applying health‑and‑safety best practices and follow‑up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Help organize and document Health & Safety committee meetings.
• Maintain CNESST and health‑and‑safety files, ensuring all documentation is current.
• Participate in incident investigations, root‑cause analysis and internal audits.
• Prepare and deliver safety training sessions to employees.
• Monitor PPE compliance and collaborate with production, HR and operations on safety initiatives.
• Travel regularly between the Saint‑Hubert and Chambly sites.

Required profile

• University degree in Health & Safety, Industrial Relations, Human Resources or a related field.
• 0‑3 years of experience in health & safety or a manufacturing environment.
• Strong interest in prevention, field work and continuous improvement.
• Professional, detail‑oriented and collaborative mindset.
• Excellent communication skills in both French and English.
• Self‑starter with good analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
