Head of Strategy & Operations

About the role

Joops.ai is seeking a Head of Strategy & Operations to join the founding leadership team. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will shape the company’s strategic direction and translate that vision into actionable initiatives across sales, marketing, product, technology, finance, and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall strategic plan for the company.
• Partner with sales to design go‑to‑market strategy, sales processes, and commercial organization.
• Define marketing strategy and help recruit the execution team.
• Prioritize product and technology features, managing cross‑functional requests.
• Conduct market, customer, competitor, and industry research to inform decisions.
• Identify new markets, partnerships, products, and revenue opportunities.
• Establish company‑wide KPIs and operating metrics, tracking performance against objectives.
• Drive cross‑functional initiatives, ensuring alignment and accountability.
• Support investor relations, fundraising, board reporting, and prepare related materials.
• Assist with executive recruiting, organizational design, and workforce planning.

Required profile

• Experience at a top‑tier management consulting firm; MBA strongly preferred.
• Strong strategic thinking combined with a hands‑on execution mindset.
• Excellent analytical, financial modelling, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven track record developing go‑to‑market strategies and leading cross‑functional projects.
• Exceptional executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building processes from the ground up.
