Grounds Maintenance Labourer

About the role

Join Paysagiste Roche as a Grounds Maintenance Labourer in Montréal. You will support a variety of landscape projects, working in residential and urban settings to keep outdoor spaces healthy and attractive.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with landscape construction tasks such as laying sod, seeding, and planting shrubs, trees, and bulbs.
• Maintain lawns and gardens by cutting grass, pruning, weeding, and applying fertilizers.
• Operate and maintain equipment including pick‑up trucks, tractors, sod cutters, and weed trimmers/edgers.
• Collect and dispose of litter, debris, and garden waste.
• Transport and spread topsoil, mulch, and other materials as needed.
• Perform routine equipment repairs and upkeep.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in landscape or grounds maintenance.
• Ability to work in wet, dusty, or hot conditions and perform repetitive, physically demanding tasks.
• Dependable team player with good manual dexterity.
