About the role

Spring Valley Gardens is seeking a dedicated Greenhouse Manager to lead its floriculture production in St. Catharines. This full‑time, permanent position oversees daily planting, transplanting, feeding and spraying activities while ensuring a high‑quality, fast‑paced work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise staff in planting, transplanting, feeding and spraying operations.
• Oversee staff across various areas of responsibility within the greenhouse.
• Ensure accurate colour identification and maintain strong attention to detail.
• Maintain a fast‑paced production environment and work effectively under pressure.

Required profile

• No formal degree required; relevant experience is an asset.
• Ability to distinguish colours and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and teamwork.
• Flexibility, initiative, good judgement, and strong organizational abilities.
• Own transportation for site access.
