Global Research Business Management Associate

About the role

This position sits at the heart of RBC Capital Markets' Global Research platform, working directly with the COO and senior leadership. You will support strategic initiatives, drive analytics, and collaborate across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Support and manage strategic initiatives on behalf of senior management.
• Conduct data management, financial tracking, and analysis for the Global Research Department.
• Develop and produce analytics and ad‑hoc reports for senior leadership, stakeholders, and clients.
• Collaborate regularly with internal teams such as QTS, Marketing, Sales & Trading, Procurement, Market Data, and Compliance, as well as external clients and vendors.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Business or Finance.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and database management, with an openness to AI tools.
• Strong communicator able to engage with internal partners, clients and vendors globally.
• Sharp analytical mindset, detail‑oriented and capable of synthesising large data sets into actionable insights.
• Energetic, self‑motivated and able to thrive under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with capital markets products, processes and systems is an asset, as is experience in research or sales‑and‑trading support.
