About the role
We are seeking a Funeral Director to lead our funeral home operations in Springdale, providing compassionate support to families and overseeing all aspects of funeral services.
Key responsibilities
- Consult with families to arrange funeral and related services.
- Schedule staff, coordinate burials or cremations, and manage the transfer of remains.
- Preserve, sanitize and prepare human remains for services.
- Complete legal documentation and maintain financial records.
- Supervise 1‑2 staff members and oversee daily funeral home operations.
Required profile
- Funeral Director Licence and a valid driver’s licence.
- Clear criminal‑record check and ability to handle weight over 45 kg.
- Strong oral and written communication, accuracy and reliability.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and perform manual tasks.
