Functional Support Analyst – Integrated Service Centre

About the role

The Integrated Service Centre (ISC) at the University of British Columbia is seeking a Functional Support Analyst to provide Tier 2 support for the Workday HR and Finance modules. You will act as a subject‑matter authority, delivering high‑quality customer service and ensuring the reliability of critical business systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 troubleshooting and problem resolution for Workday HR and Finance applications.
• Maintain system availability and performance by monitoring incidents and coordinating with technical teams.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners across UBC to understand business needs and improve processes.
• Document issues, solutions, and best practices to enhance the knowledge base.
• Ensure service levels are met or exceeded in line with university standards.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Workday HR and Finance functionalities.
• Experience delivering Tier 2 support in a large, complex organization.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with diverse university stakeholders.
