Full‑Time Dishwasher / Kitchen Support

About the role

You will join a fast‑paced kitchen team to ensure all dishes, glassware, pots, pans, trays and utensils are cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards. This full‑time position supports the overall cleanliness and safety of the kitchen environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, trays and utensils following established procedures.
• Polish silverware using a burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth.
• Maintain the dishwashing area and kitchen equipment, ensuring they are clean, functional and meet safety standards.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food‑prep surfaces.
• Remove trash, place it in designated containers and steam‑clean or hose out garbage cans.
• Assist with loading, unloading and transferring supplies, products and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• Willingness to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Previous dishwashing experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work well under pressure and perform physical tasks.

Required skills

• Experience with industrial washing machines (preferred).
• Operation of burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip and buffing wheel.
