Full‑time Caregiver & Babysitter

About the role

We are looking for a reliable caregiver to provide full‑time babysitting and household support for a family in Edmonton. You will be responsible for the children’s well‑being, daily routines, and light housekeeping while the parents are away.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and care for children of multiple ages, ensuring a safe and healthy environment.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and assist with personal hygiene.
• Perform light housekeeping, cleaning, and shopping for food and household supplies.
• Transport children to school, appointments, and extracurricular activities.
• Support children’s emotional well‑being, help with homework, and encourage social development.
• Travel with the family on trips, providing child supervision and housekeeping assistance.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1–2 years of experience in childcare or caregiving.
• Certificates: Emergency child care first aid, CPR, and First Aid.
• Clear background checks: child abuse registry, child welfare, criminal record, driver’s licence, drug test, medical exam, and references.
• Own transportation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, initiative, organization, and reliability.
