About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Cook to join our team at 10 Acres Bistro + Bar in Victoria. This full‑time, permanent role involves preparing high‑quality meals, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting a welcoming environment for staff and guests.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure health and safety standards.
- Train staff in food preparation, cooking and handling.
- Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, managing overall kitchen operations.
- Clean kitchen and work areas, upholding sanitation practices.
Required profile
- 1 to less than 2 years of kitchen experience.
- No formal culinary degree required.
- Recognized employer that provides awareness training for a youth‑friendly workplace.
