About the role

Join Thrifty Foods as a Bakery Clerk in the Admirals store, delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean, safe, and inviting bakery environment.

Key responsibilities

• Adhere to food safety protocols, standard operating procedures, health and safety policies, and corporate initiatives.
• Provide friendly customer service, process bakery orders, and promote products to increase sales.
• Prepare, handle, and merchandise bakery items while keeping the work area clean and presentable.
• Order, receive, and manage stock in line with inventory control procedures.
• Participate in training junior staff and process department shrink.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong focus on customer service and loyalty.

Required skills

• Knowledge of food safety and health & safety standards.
• Experience handling bakery products and merchandising.
