About the role
We are seeking a motivated Cook to prepare and cook complete meals, accommodate dietary restrictions, and support overall kitchen operations at our restaurant in Prince George. The role involves working in a fast‑paced environment, handling a variety of dishes and ensuring high standards of food safety.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes.
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas for cleanliness and safety.
- Order supplies and equipment as needed.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
- Clean kitchen and work areas regularly.
- Recruit, hire, and supervise kitchen staff.
- Manage overall kitchen operations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Supervise junior staff during service periods.
