Full-Time Caregiver & Babysitter

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated full-time caregiver and babysitter to join a family in Edmonton. The role involves providing comprehensive child-care and household support while ensuring a safe, nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for the household in the parents’ absence.
• Perform light housekeeping, cleaning, and grocery shopping.
• Travel with the family and assist with child supervision during trips.
• Instruct children in personal hygiene, social development, and emotional well‑being.
• Maintain a safe and healthy home environment.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• Supervise children, transport them to school, appointments, and extracurricular activities.
• Support children with homework and emotional needs.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary school graduation.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Efficient interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Initiative, organization, and reliability.
• Valid driver’s licence and own transportation.
• Clear background checks (child abuse registry, criminal record, driving record, drug test, medical exam) and references.
• Current Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR certification.
